  1. This time of year always means fun cakes! For Halloween I created these worm cupcakes, mmmmm, delicious!

And a birthday on November 5th can only mean one style of cake - a bonfire!

I got to add another football team to my collection - Manchester Utd. These football shirt cakes are always a hit and ideal for anybody who's footy mad.

I got free reign over this design, with only one proviso - no pink. So I chose purple and black and created this stripy cake. The birthday girl was very pleased, as was the customer who ordered it.

This cake was made for a guy who spends a lot of time on his PC (don't we all?!), so a hand modelled PC and a cuppa were perfect to top his cake.

Jake from the Neverland Pirates and his pirate friend Skully sit on this cake with their booty in a treasure chest. I used my new wave cutter on this cake and I love it. I have another sea themed cake soon and I can't wait to use it again. I love the edible treasure map too.

Spaces are VERY limited between now and the end of the year. The first few months of 2014 are also filling fast, so don't be afraid to order your cake sooner rather than later.

My Christmas cake order book is now closed, but I will be at 2 Christmas fairs selling goodies, 7th Dec at the Tithe Barn and 21st Dec at the Nailsea commuinty market in the main precinct.

  2. It almost feels like summer ended one day and autumn arrived the next, just like that! With the shorter days, thoughts  turn to Christmas and yummy goodies! I am doing 2 Christmas fairs this year. Firstly the craft market at Nailsea Tithe Barn on December 7th. I did this last year and it was a lovely event, Father Christmas, carols, lots of different and interesting stalls and all in a beautiful building. Secondly, I'll be at the Nailsea Community market alongside the normal farmers market on December 21st. There's a huge choice of stalls : meats, cheese, bread, vegetables, crafts and of course cake!

I am taking order for jars of chilli jam or lemon curd (£2.50), hot chocolate cones (£1.50) and Christmas cupcakes (£5 for 4, £7.50 for 6 or £15 for 12). Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to order anything.

I did a lovely cake this week which instantly brings a smile to your face, a rainbow! The recipients nickmake is Harry-rainbow, so it was perfect for her.

For this cake I was given free reign, with the only stipulation it be stylish and simple. I think this would look gorgeous as a wedding cake with multiple tiers.

This cake was made for the grand opening of Butterfly travel, a new independent travel agency that has opened in Nailsea. Felicity Ralfs has over 18 years in the travel industry and I would highly recommend her to book your holiday with.

These designer cupcakes were fun to do, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and Mulberry, all hand made from sugarpaste. The cupcakes were gluten free.

This shoe box cake was made along side the designer cupcakes, here's a girl that loves a label! I'm getting quite good at the Louboutin signature!

I've done quite a lot of new baby cupcake giftboxes lately. I think these make such a lovely gift as what could be better for a new parent than having a delicious cupcake at 3am when you're up with a new baby!! These can usually be accomodated at late notice. These ones were for a new baby called Enid, how sweet!
